Affiliate Terms

These Affiliate Terms apply to anyone who joins the quebec.agency affiliate program ("Affiliate"), in addition to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The program is run by Metrosolus.
1. Joining
Anyone aged 18 or older may join for free. We may decline, suspend or remove an Affiliate at any time, for example for breaking these terms or for suspected fraud. We may change, pause or end the program; changes do not affect commissions already earned.
2. Commission
- You earn $10 for each business that you referred and that makes its first paid subscription payment on quebec.agency. The amount can change; the amount in force when the business first pays applies to that business.
- Commission is paid once per business. Renewals, re-subscriptions and credit pack purchases do not earn commission.
- A referral counts if the business visited quebec.agency through your link (or a page address with your
?ref=code) and applied or subscribed within 60 days. If a business was referred by more than one Affiliate, the first referral recorded wins. - You cannot earn commission on your own business, a business you own or control, or a business owned by a member of your household.
3. Review period and payouts
- Each commission is in review for 30 days after the subscription payment, so that refunds, chargebacks and fraud can be checked. After that it becomes payable.
- We pay your payable balance by hand, using the payout method you choose (for example PayPal, Interac e-Transfer, cheque or bank transfer), once it reaches $25. Payouts may take some days. You are responsible for correct payout details and any fees charged by your payment provider.
- If a subscription payment is refunded, charged back or found fraudulent, we cancel the related commission, and if it was already paid we may deduct it from future payouts.
- You are responsible for your own taxes (including any GST/QST registration that applies to you). We may ask for your tax information before a payout, and we issue the tax slip required by law (for example a T4A); we may report payments to the tax authorities. We may withhold payment until we have the information we need.
4. Promoting quebec.agency
- Disclose. Say clearly that you may be paid if people sign up through your link (for example "affiliate link"). Follow the Competition Act, the Consumer Protection Act (Québec) and any other advertising law that applies to you.
- Be truthful. Do not make false or misleading claims about quebec.agency, about prices, results, leads or earnings, and do not say or imply that you are quebec.agency or that we endorse you.
- No spam. Do not send commercial electronic messages without consent as CASL requires, or unsolicited bulk email or texts, post in places where promotion is not allowed, or use bots, fake accounts or incentives that mislead people.
- No brand bidding. Do not buy ads on our name, our domain or close variants, and do not register look-alike domains or social accounts.
- No cookie abuse. Do not force, stuff or hide referral links, auto-redirect visitors, or otherwise cause a referral without a real visit.
- Do not copy our logo or design in a way that suggests you are us. You may link to quebec.agency and quote it fairly.
5. Fraud and enforcement
If we reasonably believe an Affiliate or a referral is fraudulent, self-referred, spam or otherwise in breach, we may cancel commissions, withhold or recover payouts, and suspend or close the account.
6. Your information
We keep your name, email and payout details to run the program and pay you. We show you, in your dashboard, the names of referred businesses that became paying subscribers (their public business names only). See the Privacy Policy.
7. Relationship and liability
You are an independent party, not our employee, agent or partner. We do not guarantee any level of earnings. Sections 11 to 13 and 16 of the Terms of Use (disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law) apply to this program.
8. Changes
We may update these terms and will change the "Last updated" date. For material changes affecting commission we will email Affiliates. Continuing to promote quebec.agency after a change means you accept it.
