Terms of Use
Last updated: Oct 11, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Metrosolus ("we", "us"), which operates quebec.agency. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Specialists who list on the site or buy credits also accept the Specialist Terms.
1. What quebec.agency is
quebec.agency is an online directory and introduction service. Clients describe a project and we suggest specialists who may fit. Specialists create listings and can pay to see a client's contact details. We introduce people. We are not a party to any agreement between a client and a specialist, and we do not provide, supervise or guarantee any specialist's services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you use the site for a business, you confirm that you may bind it.
Language
French is the reference language of these Terms and of our policies (Charter of the French language). The English version is provided for convenience. If you prefer to be bound by the English version, you confirm that you have had access to the French version and that you expressly wish to be bound by the English version. Les parties ont expressément exigé que les présentes soient rédigées en français; la version française prévaut en cas de divergence.
3. Clients
- You may describe a project and send it to matched specialists. We show your project details to the specialists we match. Your name, email and phone are hidden until a specialist pays to unlock them.
- Give accurate information. Do not send a brief on behalf of someone else without their permission.
- Using the site is free for clients. Any agreement, price or payment is between you and the specialist. You are responsible for checking a specialist's licences, insurance, references and quotes before hiring.
- The "white-glove" option is a request for our staff to contact you with a quote. It is not a commitment by us to supply a team.
4. Specialists
Specialists must provide truthful information, hold every licence, registration and insurance that the work legally requires, and comply with the law, including advertising rules for their profession. See the Specialist Terms for credits, subscriptions and leads.
5. Accounts and sign-in
Clients and businesses sign in with a single-use link we email to the address on the account, or with an optional password. Keep your email, links and password private: you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. You can delete your account in Settings.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit (profiles, briefs, messages). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and use it to run and promote the site, for example to show a listing in the directory or a brief to matched specialists. You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law.
7. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content, refuse a listing, suspend an account or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms or the policy were broken, or to protect others or the site.
8. Verified and Premium labels
"Verified" means we checked a credential or detail at the time of verification. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality, licensing status today, or results. "Premium" or "Pro" means the specialist pays for placement, so those listings may appear earlier in matches and search. We do not rank paying specialists above others based on the quality of their work.
9. Third-party sites and services
The site links to other sites and uses providers such as Stripe for payments and WhatsApp for optional click-to-chat links. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Intellectual property
The site design, text, software, data compilation and the quebec.agency name and logo belong to Metrosolus or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, harvest listings or contact details, resell the directory, or build a competing database from it without our written permission. Reporting a copyright problem: see Copyright.
11. Disclaimers
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or fitness of the site for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a specialist will respond, or that a match will suit you. Nothing on the site is legal, tax, financial, medical or professional advice. See the Directory Disclaimer.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Metrosolus and its owners, staff and providers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or for anything that arises from dealings between users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or one hundred Canadian dollars. Under Québec law, liability cannot be excluded for bodily or moral injury or for intentional or gross fault, and nothing here limits the rights of a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act or the Civil Code of Québec.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and reimburse us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your content, your use of the site, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with other users, except to the extent we caused them.
14. Ending your use
You may stop using the site at any time. Specialists can ask us to remove a listing (each listing has a removal link, or contact us). We may suspend or end access at any time for the reasons in section 7. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) continue after termination.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice on the site or by email. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws in force in Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal, Québec have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the right of a consumer to bring a case before the court of their own domicile as the law provides. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
17. General
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger, sale or reorganisation. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Specialist Terms and the policies they link to are the entire agreement between us on this subject.
